The gallery system does not currently support the character set which is needed to correctly display the fada or any accented character. These characters are supported everywhere else on the site to the best of my knowledge as your example showed: poitiín
I have logged your issue and our developers will look into adding support for accented characters.

I have corrected this for your Poitín exhibit, however there is still an outstanding issue related to the character set which allows accented characters to be correctly displayed. I'll update you again as the issue is solved.
